About the Author
FC Shaw
F.C. Shaw grew up with stories. First she had them told to her and read to her. Then she read them for herself and discovered the magic therein. FC Shaw started writing stories when she was eight years old. She began with a notebook, learned to type on her grandmother's electric typewriter, and now writes on a laptop.
She loves writing stories for kids, and hopes to inspire kids to write their own stories. She is on a mission to help others discover the magic unlocked by reading a book, so has set forth to write her own stories.
She homeschools her four children and is a Children's Ministry Director at her church. With a Master's Degree in Education, she has taught everything from Kindergarten to college.
She has written four plays that have been performed at Orcutt Academy High School, and directed by her husband who is the Drama Department Head there. She lives with her husband and four children in California in a house they call Shawgwarts.
She is a big Sherlockian, mega Star Wars fan, and Starbucks regular.
